Idris Bahray

German Police have launched an investigation into the murder of a 20-year-old asylum seeker from Eritrea who had been beaten and stabbed to death in Dresden, the city at the centre of protests against Islam and immigration.

The state prosecutors’ office confirmed on Thursday that the man, identified as the Khaled Idris Bahray, and found dead on a street on Tuesday morning, had been a victim of a violent crime. (Continued)

The West taking it small with Freedom of Speech.

In Europe, djihadists are accused of being the responsables of the attacks in Paris. This attack was understood suprisingly fast as being an attack against the freedom of press and the freedom of speech.

Alot of journals are uniting with and doing like Charlie under the banner of secularity and create a tense atmosphere of religious provocation. The authorities demand the people not to accuse muslims, and the muslims are at the same time forced by the state to take distance from the attacks and salafistic islamism. At the time, all we hear in the news are razzias going on against islamic tourists in France, Spain, Germany, Belgium and other countries. Who follows the news and believes everything being told, must feel very insecure. But I surely don’t believe the state reports taken over by mainstream media without further thinking. Every time I hear the news I like feel they are lying to us. At least they hide alot. (Continued)

For this wednesday a conference was sheduled at the office, giving the suspition that the raid was plannified.According to a source close to the investigation, contacted by Liberation, the attackers did precisely designate their victims by a person working at the newspaper’s office. In general media is claimed that islamists are responsable for the raid. One of the attackers shouted “Alahu Akbar”. The names of the carcaturists working for “Charlie Hebdo” were also found on Al Qaida hitlists.

The killings in Paris were the worst since WWII, the french authorities rose the anti-terror level for the entire country to the red level, wich is the highest and gives the authorisation to increase police controls on public and higly frequented spaces, for an undetermined period.

Noam Chomsky on ISIS, Ferguson, Activism and Summer Camp

“These two founding crimes, slavery and extermination of the indigenous population, are very much with us.”

Transcript of the Dec. 8, 2014 Laura Flanders Show interview with Noam Chomsky. This transcript was also published in TruthOut.org

Laura Flanders: President Obama chose the 10th anniversary of the (2004) Battle of Fallujah to announce the doubling of the US troop presence in Iraq. Some of those troops are going back to Anbar Province where Fallujah is situated. People talk about the crisis posed by ISIS, and [the West’s] lack of good options. Is this how you see it?

Noam Chomsky: It’s interesting to look at it carefully. Fallujah, first of all, was one of the worst atrocities of the 21st century. The Iraq war itself was the worst crime of the 21st century, easily. Fallujah was probably the worst war crime carried out during that war.

Seven thousand Marines attacked Fallujah, probably killed everyone who was there. They called them insurgents – whatever that means. On the first day of the invasion of Fallujah, The New York Times had a front page photograph of Marines breaking into the general hospital, which is a war crime, and throwing all the patients and doctors on the floor and shackling them. It was hailed as a triumph.

When the high command was asked why they broke into the hospital, they said it was a propaganda center for the insurgents. [They said that the hospital] was releasing casualty figures, and therefore it’s legitimate to carry out a major war crime. (Continued)

Open letter to “concerned” Europeans

I come from a working man family. The major part of my friends belong to poor families. I know how shitty it feels, when one cannot afford all the Bling Bling we see on the TV every day. I know how it can make one nervous as hell when one depends from social compensations and has to count pennies all the time. Or how shitty it is, to do a full time job without being able to buy the necessary stuff for the house, to replace a broken washing machine or to buy a new bicycle for the kid, without spending the saving money one has put aside with a lot of efforts. And then some morons, who don’t have other things to suggest, decide to open a refugee center in our town? (Continued)

Now that the Italian marine rescue operation ‘Mare Nostrum’ has ended, the ‘Boatspeople’ who are still trying to cross the Mediterranean to find refuge in Europe, risk more than ever to drown, as more and more emergency calls of ships with refugees are left unanswerred, even when calls get through and are registered, and ships who are closeby could assist fast enough to save the people. There are also pushed backs, like people in distress in the Greek National Territory Waters who are pushed back to Turkey and left over to themselves.

Time for a review, and time for some good intentions

The gooses and the turkeys got slaughtered and the streets and the shops are covered with christmas crap, 2014 is comming to an end. The year review will remind us how terrible it was with the war in Ukraine for starters. With Merkel still running Germany. With Germany still turning and speeding up the machine of war. With Merkel supporting Obama and Obama supporting Merkel, acusing Putin of acting exactly like Hitler, without watching themselves in the Mirror. Giving them a reason to make people suffer in Russia, as they do make people suffer elsewhere. (Continued)

Movie review: Les moissons du future [Harvests of the Future]

‘Harvests of the Future’ by Marie Monique Robin. A movie about people worldwide proving that agriculture needs to be modernised by improving natural conditions, in order to save our world population from hunger and ecologic disasters. It also proves that pesticides and herbicides are in fact responsable for hunger crises on this planet. The movie is very worth watching, alot of information, hope and optimism of people who engage against hunger, ecologic destruction and food speculation, giving practic examples. (Continued)
