The young 20 year old Erithrean who was killed during the night of january the 13th in Dresden, was killed by one of his roommates, reported the German boulevard press “Bild”. The roommate confessed the murder to the police.
When the dead body of the young man was found in a garden of the flat where he shared a 4-room appartment with 7 other refugees from Africa, the police did not recognice any signs of violence, altough the body was heavily soaked in blood. First after big protests of anti-racist activists on social media and media reports, the body was examined, leading to the conclusion that the young man was killed by stabbing. 30 hours after the recovery of the body, the police secured the evidence on the crime site.
Anti-racist activists suspected a racist motive for the murder, while the same night the young man was killed there was a big racist mob (PEGIDA) marching through Dresden. The anti-racist activists held big memorial actions during the following days.
Altough it could be possible that the young man was killed by his roommate, I find it hard to believe the official reports, anyhow it is good that alot of comrades showed their sympathy and care for refugees, who live in big fear during the recent uprise of racism in Germany and other countries in Europe.
